DB2 Ambassadors

What are my tasks and for how long?

As a DB2 Ambassador, you have a lot of flexibility to perform your tasks. The more you do for the DB2 on Campus program, the better your program completion letter would look! The more activities you organize, the more the chances of being featured on this Web site!. Here are suggested tasks you can perform:
  • Contribute with sample code that uses DB2 Express-C as the data server
  • Write articles, tutorials or books about DB2, or help translate existing material to your language.
  • Organize and present about DB2 (you can use the same presentations available as part of the DB2 on Campus program)
  • Participate in the DB2 Express-C Forum
  • Help maintain this DB2 on Campus Portal web site
  • Develop new courses, tutorials or workshops that could be posted in db2university.com
  • Establish a DB2 User Group in your university
After being selected as ambassador, you can always ask for guidance to the DB2 on Campus members about these tasks.

The minimum period as a DB2 Ambassador is six months.
